In the framework of coordinative meetings to implement the General Command of the Algerian Muslim Scouts program in the area of developing human resources in accordance with existing scouting methodology and curriculum in preparation, the General Command welcomed a meeting between the National Director of Human and Group Resource Development, Scout Commander Toufik Rahmani, and the National Director of Methodology, Curriculum and Activities, Scout Commander AbdelHakim Lakhal. The meeting, which was held in the afternoon of the 30^th of October 2008, included the presentation and discussion of the general plan for human development within the organisation, the clarification of different methods to achieve a unified backdrop for the scouting educational process, as well as a framework of requested recommendations to be delivered to provincial commanders during meetings which will be organised at a later date.

The two Scout Commanders emphasised the necessity of providing for all circumstances to ensure the success of the meeting, that it may be a founding stone towards realizing the reinforcement of scouting policies in its new framework of its educational capacity, and in light of the completion of the Islamic education handbook of the scouting curriculum, and its distribution for preliminary use to await the modification of its contents in the future. Also agreed upon was the continuation of preparing the remaining subjects which await printing following the correction of noted errors.
